The Fall is definitely my favorite season, but I am a winter baby. Being from New York City I enjoy the snow, but don’t let it happen here in Dallas as we don’t know how to handle it. I moved to Buffalo, NY for college and to New Hampshire afterwards. Its like I went from cold to colder, I suppose but now I live in the hot son and heat of Texas and don’t get to wear all my lovely coats as much……but I digress.
I enjoy when the seasons change. Though its September, I decided to get a head start on my winter looks, haha just kidding (LOL)!! For this week of National Sewing Month I am showing a fur look. I love creating fur looks and I am happy to add this one to my vast collection. This will be the 3rd one that I’ve made.
I chose a gorgeous electric aqua blue and I must say she’s a hit. Hence, why I chose the color. It is fun, electric and a statement piece. I used McCall’s #M7257 for the jacket and made no modifications to it. The faux fur is very soft and easy to sew with. I enjoyed sewing it and love my jacket.

But, I say a HUGE BUT Hey, I promise I am not rushing the season.
Xoxo,
Mo
